EA's winter blockbuster Battlefield 3 has been confirmed to use the online pass system that EA has pushed quite hard over the last few years. Much like they did not so long ago with some of their 07/08 game, EA will be closing the servers making it impossible for you to play them online. EA have made a very broad statement that every single one of their Fiscal Year 2011 titles will feature both online of some sort and Downloadable Content. The games included within this time frame and therefore the statement include Dead Space 2, Need for Speed, Crysis 2 and several yet to be named titles.
