Obsidian Developing a Console South Park RPG?

Obsidian, the developer behind Fallout: New Vegas, is apparently making a console game for South Park. An ‘full-blown RPG’ where you will step into the shoes of the ‘new kid’ in South Park who has to defend the town from various threats. And that’s all we know sadly.

However, Matt Stone and Trey Parker will in fact be completely involved in the game making sure it’s up to the offensive yet creative bar that South Park has set for itself. The game is slated for a January 2012 release so soon we will be hearing more information from Game Informer, the guys who broke the news and provided the following image, very soon.

Final of Four Add-Ons for New Vegas Dated for September.

New Vegas’ next DLC add-on ‘Lonesome Road’ has been set a September release on the 20th.

‘Lonesome Road’ has wastelanders meet Courier Six who says he will reveal his secrets for one last job. This add-on will cost around $10.

In related news; two new DLC goodies have been announced one being ‘Courier’s Stash’ (Equipment packs that were originally delivered via pre-order packs; Caravan Pack, Tribal Pack, Classic Pack and Mercenary Pack) and the other being ‘Gun Runners’ Arsenal (An add on which will increase the amount of weapons, mods, ammunition types and recipes in the Mojave Wasteland).

These packs will be release one week later on September 27 and will cost $1.99 and $3.99.

Old World Blues DLC Dated

Bethesda have announced that the third Fallout: New Vegas DLC, Old World Blues, will be released on July 19th on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. Along with this information, the also released a screenshot (below). The content will be available on the Xbox Live Marketplace (800 Microsoft Points), PSN, Steam and Direct2Drive (£7.99).

Fallout: New Vegas Patches Coming Soon

Unfortunately, Fallout: New Vegas has a bug or two. Other than the crashes, bugs, animation blips and scripting errors, there is a really good game that is worth playing. But it is hard to keep overlooking the above while exploring New Vegas.

Luckily, Bethesta have noted all the flaws and are well on their way to releasing patches to stick a band-aid on these cuts and scrapes. While Speaking with GiantBomb this morning, Bethesda’s own Pete Hines announced that the team is hard at work on a series of patches and updates to rectify the problems on all three versions of the game.

“We are currently working on releasing patches/updates as quickly as possible for Fallout: New Vegas, for all platforms,” Hines said via e-mail. “Announcements regarding the patches are forthcoming.”

Specific details regarding the patches will be coming soon via an announcement, too.
