This weeks Gears of War 3 event,  titled "Can You Dig It?" will see changes implemented in to the Team Deathmatch game mode. We were told last month that we would see additional Gears of War 3 achievements with the release of the DLC  'Horde Command Pack.' It now appears the final achievement selection has been added to both the Xbox360 and Xbox.com game listings. It appears Epic Games have something big in the mix. They announced when Gears of War 3 launched last month that they will test the waters for a month, build stats, and alter the game accordingly. Two more Gears of War 3 events will be taking place on October 17 and 18. The first event is "Torque Bow Tag" which will apparently replace all map based weapons with Torque Bows although we're not completely positive. This will take place on October 17th. Microsoft have revealed the pre-order numbers for Xbox 360 exclusive Gears of War 3 and they're not surprising anyone. It appears the achievements for the fast approaching Gears of War 3 title have been revealed today through 360achievements website. Microsoft have released some very impressive Gears of War 3 Beta statistics. To the delight of Epic, gamers managed to surpass the goal of 1 million players over the course of the four weeks. Here is a breakdown of the stats: 1.29 million people participated in the Gears of War 3 beta. 145 different countries participated in the beta. 249 years worth of matches played. Ever since the Gears of War 3 Epic edition appeared for pre order there have been a number of theories to what could be inside the £99.99 bundle.
