Different from the other titles in the series Yakuza of the End has the fictitious city of Kamurocho overrun by zombies and despite the painful sounding concept (which is, by the way, the Japanese Mafia vs. Zombies) the game actually did rather well when it was released in Japan earlier this year.

A European trademark was filed for the title “Yakuza: Dead Souls” spread rumours of a Western release however there was no confirmation; until today when a trailer was released by SEGA announcing the newly-renamed Yakuza: Dead Souls which will be released in 2012.

The Western release will of course keep the original Japanese dialogue just like in the previous titles.
