Rabbids: Alive & Kicking – Demo, Web Game Now Available to Play HERE!

As Rabbids: Alive & Kicking released in both US and EU this week, Ubisoft have developed and released a brand new interactive web game. This serves as a demo for those who’re still on fence about picking up this cute fluffy package.

The premise is simple – this flash game will use your webcam in the same way as Kinect would for the full retail version; then all you do is slap the rabbits as they appear on screen.

To spice things up a little Ubisoft have supplied us with three copies to give away to those who manage to climb their way to the top of the leaderboard. So be quick, very quick – and swat those rabbits!

Rabbids: Alive & Kicking is available in the UK and Europe from Friday, November 4th.

Dance Central 2 Demo and Full Song List Unveiled

Dance Central remains one of Kinect’s strongest titles, with positive reviews across the board and solid sales, so Microsoft and developer Harmonix will surely be hoping to take that success and build on it with the follow up. Dance central 2 hits shelves at the end of the week, October 21st, but for anyone who just can’t control their feet until then, the demo is available now, here or from the dashboard.

What’s more, the full song list is now up at www.dancecentral.com and, with the ability to import songs from the first Dance Central as well as any DLC, Dance Central 2 will have upwards of 100 songs available at launch, which should be enough to keep you busy for some time.

Need For Speed: The Run Demo Hits Marketplace Now

Suffering from an unquenched need for speed? Luckily the new Need For Speed game titled “The Run” has just had a demo released on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

The demo puts you behind the wheel of a Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni in the middle of the Nevada desert.

Got a friend you can bother? Good as apparently referring a friend earns you the ability to race a Porsche 911 Carrera.

The full description reads:

Race for your life in the NEED FOR SPEED™ THE RUN demo. In the Desert Hills of Nevada you find yourself at the heart of the pack. Battle the unforgiving desert heat and technically demanding terrain as you use all your skills to fight your way to the front in the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni. Once past the desert, you face treacherous Independence Pass. The clock is ticking, a mountain is crumbling in front of you and a rival is one step ahead.

New Sonic Generations Demo Coming Out Today

The first demo for Sonic Generations was only on the Marketplace for a few weeks but it allowed you to race through Green Hill Zone as the Classic Sonic.

If you missed out on the demo last time a second demo will be released later today which lets you play through the same level with Classic and Modern Sonic.

The game launches November 1st, 3rd and 4th for the US, Australia and Europe respectively.

SSX Deadly Descents Demo Confirmed

EA have confirmed that the reboot of their SSX franchise will receive a demo. SSX Deadly Descents has been causing a few ripples since its dark trailer was released awhile back and after a showing at E3 the hype started to roll in. The demo’s existence was confirmed by the game’s producer Sean Smillie however it is not known if the demo will be released before or after the games retail release.

Mass Effect 3 Demo Confirmed

Mass Effect 3’s 2012 release can’t come quick enough for a lot of people, while others are still sceptical of the third entry into the franchise , and it seems Bioware are more than happy to give its fan base a taste of things to come with the announcement of a Mass Effect 3 demo.

The demo’s existence was confirmed via Bioware staff member Casey Hudson Twitter, he tweeted the following:

“Awesome, much appreciated! Stay tuned for news on demo plans in a few months.”

Details are thin on the ground at the moment with no word on a release or the demo’s content. Keep an eye on the space for further news….and follow @CaseyDHudson on twitter for a cheeky advantage.

Dragon Age 2 Demo For GameStop Employees?

A demo for Bioware’s Dragon Age 2 will be released on PC on February 23^rd if an e-mail sent to Gamestop employees is correct.

Gamestop employees gaining access to the demo is apparently for them to gain key knowledge on the game in order to be a key source of information for Gamestop customers and Bioware fans. This system to our knowledge has never been implemented in Europe.

There’s no information on a demo set for public release as of yet but don’t surprised if it happens around some point before March 8th when the full game is released on Xbo360, Ps3 and PC.

Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit demo announced

EA and Criterion Games today announced a demo for Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit which will be accessible from October 26th, but only for a limited period of time, the demo will end November 9th, no word of a demo on the PC yet though.

Matt Webster, Producer at Criterion Games says “Need for Speed Hot Pursuit is blowing the roof off social competition and bringing excitement back to the racing genre”

In the demo you will be able to chase as the police, speeding through Seacrest County.

Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit is due for release on November 19th on PS3 and Xbox 360 systems.
