In case you somehow missed our news regarding Portal 2 becoming official, this blockbuster is set to drop this upcoming holiday season at full retail price. Even though the first game was considered an extra Arcade Title, lasting only a few hours long, the sequel promises some extra content for your return through Aperture Science, most notably the inclusion of co-op.

Portal 2 Gets TWO

The following is an extract from GameInformer, as to what details they know regarding the announcement and addition of Co-Op play:

While we won’t reveal much more (be sure to read our 12-page story in our April issue) just know the original portal isn’t the last time you’ll see GLaDOS. There will also be surprising new characters and brand new areas of the Aperture Science Labs. The two-player co-op mode will feature its own campaign with two new playable characters. When it comes to these mind-bending puzzles, two brains are always better than one.

Valve have are set to announce the sequel to one of the most innovative titles to be released by the company, Portal. A small-scale experiment that was squeezed into 2007′s The Orange Box alongside some powerful heavyweights, Portal managed to captivate players in such a way that fans would have rioted had this news not ever existed:
