The official Arkham City News Twitter account broke the news a few days ago that Batman: Arkham City will be getting DLC. The DLC will be available from December 20th, just in time for Christmas. Warner just announced a release date for the ridiculously well received Batman: Arkham City and PC gamers will have to wait a month to play. October 21 is when the console version will be released while November 18 will mark the release of the PC version. For us in the United Kingdom the fully playable Robin character for Arkham City is a GAME pre-order exclusive while in American it's a Best Buy exclusive.
