  • Kane & Lynch 2 Review (360/PS3) 0 CommentsPosted by Sean on August 25, 2010 under PS3, Xbox 360
The original Kane & Lynch was met with mixed reception and even a slight dose of controversy, following the paths of a bitter and betrayed failed farther Kane and his medicated killing machine Lynch the game attempt to carry its self off with all the style and charisma of a gritty yet slick film along the lines of Heat. Good ideas where present and an inventive multiplayer also featured how... more.
  • Lara Croft And The Guardian Of Light Review (Xbox 360) 0 CommentsPosted by Luke on August 23, 2010 under Xbox 360
Lara Croft sets out on her adventures but her “Tomb Raider” trademark has been dropped for this title. This isn’t the next big Tomb Raider title but it proves to be fresh, detailed and now fun for more than just yourself. Whilst Tomb Raider 9 will eventually happen, this full downloadable adventure is something worth getting whilst you wait patiently. It doesn’t feel degraded at all ... more.
  • Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies Review (DS) 0 CommentsPosted by Sean on July 29, 2010 under DS
The ninth iteration of the premiere Japanese RPG Dragon Quest has finally made its way to European shores, however unlike past titles in the franchise Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies is doing some things differently. Dragon Quest is a series that has almost remained fundamentally the same throughout its long history; it’s kept the same battle screens, the same mechanics, the sa... more.
  • Limbo Review (Xbox 360) 0 CommentsPosted by Blamy on July 22, 2010 under Xbox 360
Limbo – possibly one of the weirdest most fucked up games I’ve ever played. Limbo, as a game, is pretty much impossible to describe with words, yet I’ll have to do my best. – You play as what appears to be a young boy, - or rather, a silhouette of what appears to young boy, as you never actually get to see his face, just his eyes which glow in the dark. This is one thing I was torn agai... more.
  • Decay: Part 2 Review (Xbox 360) 2 CommentsPosted by AndyW on July 20, 2010 under Xbox 360
Decay part 1 was a grim and creepy Indie game that managed to pull off a sense of mystery and hopelessness via the games setting. The predecessor ended on a cliff hanger, which effortlessly pilots us into 'Part 2' - but the question remains - does Decay 'Part 2' manage to uphold its tense, mysterious narrative? Decay 'Part 2' picks up from the end of 'Part 1,' in-which the player finds themselv... more.
  • DeathSpank Review (360/PS3) 0 CommentsPosted by Sean on July 18, 2010 under PS3, Xbox 360
Looting, laughing, killing, questing and knocking the poop out of demons; it’s all in a day’s work for DeathSpank. The story of a hero on a quest to obtain an artefact in a fantasy world may sound like your bog standard story from a generic game -  however, when you add the fact the Hero is a thong wearing wise-guy in a world of video game references and parodies, it quickly becomes appare... more.
  • Crackdown 2 Review (Xbox 360) 0 CommentsPosted by Luke on July 13, 2010 under Xbox 360
The Crackdown on crime continues. However, things seem to have taken a turn for the worst. Pacific City has transformed into a more gritty, manic city than ever before. The Agents are back, upgraded greatly to help flush out the “Cell” and “freaks.” You’ll be seeing a LOT of these throughout Crackdown 2. Whilst their placement isn’t exactly unique, they do make an interesting addition.... more.
  • Blacklight Review (360/PC) 0 CommentsPosted by Sean on under PC, Xbox 360
The online shooter market is currently dominated by the likes of Call of Duty, Halo and Battlefield; but is there a room left for a download only title? Blacklight: Tango Down attempts to answer that question. Blacklight isn’t trying to be ground breaking or anything new, and instead goes for style over substance in an attempt to look like the ‘triple A’ titles that flood the FPS market. ... more.
  • Naughty Bear Review (360/PS3) 0 CommentsPosted by Brad on June 28, 2010 under PS3, Xbox 360
In 505Games latest creation, you play the character of Naughty Bear, a sociopathic bear who lives on a island with a community of other bears who he doesn't see eye-to-eye with. Naughty Bear doesn't hate indiscriminately, though. All this mayhem and catastrophe is sourced back to Naughty Bear not being invited to a birthday party. Who said violence didn’t solve anything? Because in Naughty bear ... more.
