Great news for music fans and gamers everywhere - Rock band 3 has just been announced by developer Harmonix. The game is set to be released this "holiday season" which usually means November/December. The game is said to revolutionise the music game scene and follow on from the success of Rock band, Rock Band 2 and The Beatles: Rock Band. It has been confirmed that the upcoming Prince of Persia game, The Forgotten Sands, will be released on May 18th. Initiaitially launching on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS, however, the Wii and DS versions will be "significantly different" as they were developed seperately. EA have made a very broad statement that every single one of their Fiscal Year 2011 titles will feature both online of some sort and Downloadable Content. The games included within this time frame and therefore the statement include Dead Space 2, Need for Speed, Crysis 2 and several yet to be named titles. After the successful release of the PC version of The Sims 3, it's now been announced that the fan favourite life simulator will be coming to consoles.
