Battlefield 3 Launch Trailer!

With Battlefield 3 hitting stores around the world next week, EA are applying the finishing touches to the hype train in releasing this extremely cinematic launch trailer. If you’re already hyped for BF3′s imminent launch then you might want to watch the following trailer with caution, I found myself barely containing my bladder along with several other bodily functions.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron – New trailer!

Following up on the surprisingly good Transformers: War for Cybertron, High Moon Studios are currently developing the much anticipated sequel aptly named Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. Considered canon material for the new Transformers: Prime cartoon, old and new fans alike are rabidly excited to learn just what happened in the war on Cybertron between the Autobots and Decepticons. Oh, and there’s a damn good game included too.

A new cinematic trailer has been released and you can view it below in all its glory. Whilst it doesn’t actually contain any gameplay, it sports a very stylish monochrome style with dashes of deep reds to foreshadow the undoubtedly dark plot to come. For those of you who are fans, you’ll notice that Grimlock is the featured Autobot in the trailer and, yes, he can turn into a Tyrannosaurus Rex. Need I say any more?

Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Missing Link DLC release date revealed

Eidos Montreal have revealed via their Twitter account that the upcoming Deus Ex DLC will be releasing on October 18th, which is just a few days away! The DLC will cost 1200MSP when it is released and $14.99 (assumingly £9.99 for the UK) on the PSN.

Below is a video walk through of the DLC, be warned though as it will contain spoilers so watch at your own risk! For those of you who’d rather avoid any spoilers, below the video are some images giving you a small glimpse of what’s in store.

Cabela’s Adventure Camp – New trailer and screenshots

If you’re a fan of hunting games then you’ll have probably played one of the Cabela games in the past. It’s a long running franchise that’s been going since the previous gen with its latest iteration being Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2011. So, some of you might be excited to hear that a new game entitled Cabela’s Adventure Camp is in the works. Don’t get too excited yet though, if you’re a fan of it for the thrill of a simulated hunt then you might be in for a slight disappointment.

Cabela’s Adventure Camp is now being published by Activision (dun dun dun!) as a summer camp adventure game, compatible with Kinect, and purely aimed at kids. The game features many mini games for the family to take part in which consist of many of the activities you’d find at a traditional summer camp. Whether this is good or bad news is entirely subjective, the trailer and screenshots are below so decide for yourself!

Saints Row: The Third – New gameplay trailer!

A new trailer for Saints Row: The Third has been released and, whilst many devs tend to release fast paced videos showcasing all their games have to offer, Voliton have gone for a slightly cheeky approach! The rather humorous disclaimer gives you an idea of what you’re in for and the trailer itself shows off the kind of stuff we all love to do in Sandbox games – arse about.

Explosive RAGE Trailer Could Sell You on the Game.

It’s not a definite fact but I think the new launch trailer for Bethesda and id Software’s new game RAGE may be the best we’ve seen all year.

The following is sixty gorgeous seconds show off some of the epic moments in the game.

While North America already have this game, the release nature of the trailer is still relevant for Australian and European readers; the game will arrive there October 6th and 7th respectively.

EA announces Shank 2 for Early 2012

The sequel to the popular XBLA action/side-scroller from Klei Entertainment and EA is currently being developed.

The sequel, cleverly dubbed Shank 2, will feature a new “arcade-style survival co-op mode” where players will work together to defeat enemies.

When asked about the game, founder of Klei Entertainment Jamie Cheng said: “Creatively, Shank still has a lot to give. We took the feedback from the community and ran with it, putting our own flavor on every change. For Shank 2, we literally took apart the game and put it back together to push the envelope in combat mechanics, visuals, and 2D animation in games.”

Devil May Cry: DMC Gameplay Videos Released From Tokyo Game Show

There’s a lot of hate for DMC over a lot of things, mostly the look of the new Dante. Even the original creator of the Devil May Cry series, Hideki Kamiya, has had his say on the “new guy” saying he “misses him”. Apparently this was all part of developer Ninja Theory’s plan to bring more attention to the game, yeah.. It worked.

Gameplay videos from Tokyo Game Show have been released by GameTrailers who cleverly pointed a camera at a screen for a few minutes. Good job guys.

UPDATE: GameTrailers took the videos down, thankfully somebody uploaded both onto Youtube. I’ll update on why if I get a reply from them. Until then, enjoy.

Dead Island Release Trailer Hits The Web

As Dead Island is released in the UK on September 9th, Deep Silver has today unveiled the official release trailer.

In the trailer we get to see some of the action sequences and cutscenes from the game, which in my humble opinion, only make me even more excited for September 9th. As it ticks all the boxes a co-op loving zombie aficionado demands.

New Street Fighter X Tekken Trailer Shows Off Hugo, Ibuki, Raven, and Kuma

Capcom released a new gameplay trailer for Street Fighter X Tekken today.

The trailer shows of the games open combo system which makes stringing attacks easier, as well as awesome gameplay from new characters Hugo, Poison, Ibuki, Raven, and Kuma.

The game looks more exciting every time a trailer is released and I’m sure it’s only going to get more interesting.
