Great news for music fans and gamers everywhere - Rock band 3 has just been announced by developer Harmonix. The game is set to be released this "holiday season" which usually means November/December. The game is said to revolutionise the music game scene and follow on from the success of Rock band, Rock Band 2 and The Beatles: Rock Band. There's not much due for release this week. Most publishers are probably too scared to tackle the giant Final Fantasy 13. After last night's problems with certain Playstation 3 consoles, Sony have advised that users don't use their PS3s until the error has been fixed - hopefully within 24 hours. It has been confirmed that the upcoming Prince of Persia game, The Forgotten Sands, will be released on May 18th. Initiaitially launching on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS, however, the Wii and DS versions will be "significantly different" as they were developed seperately. One of the main features of consoles is that they don't need to be upgraded. However, that doesn't mean that you won't get a free and unexpected upgrade.
