Heart of The Swarm Achieves Blizzard Milestones
Blizzard have today revealed their viewing figures for their 21-hour streamed launch of Starcraft 2: Heart Of The Swarm.
Blizzard hit three milestones with their launch event which was broadcast live on Twitch.TV. More than 1.1. million viewers tuned in to watch the stream which showed a number of events and celebrations. Another milestone was achieved in the shape of Hears of The Swarm selling 1.1 million copies in the first two days of release.
The achievements didn’t stop at the launch of Heart Of The Swarm. The games MLG Winter Championship appearance in Dallas garnered a peak viewership of over 1250,000.
