Hotline Miami Sequel Confirmed
Hotline Miami is set to receive a sequel, as confirmed by its creator via Twitter.
The news broke after Jonatan Söderström tweeted:
”Working while listening to the sweet tunes of a preliminary Hotline Miami 2 soundtrack that we’ve put together during the weekend. ”
The news may come as soothing of a surprise given it was less than a week ago that talk of DLC for the original was taking place. The DLC was said to include new characters and different story angles. The possibility of a map editor was also discussed. Judging by a interview with Eurogamer it seems DLC plans turned into sequel plans:
”Yeah, it seems like it will end up bigger (in terms of the number of levels we’ve got planned) than the first, so it feels reasonable to release it as a full game rather than a DLC. ”
