Splinter Cell Blacklist to get graphic novel

Today, Ubisoft announced that a graphic novel based on Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell franchise will be released in 2013 to bridge the gap between Splinter Cell Conviction and Splinter Cell Blacklist. Writer Nathan Edmondson and artist Marc Laming are on board to create this graphic novel for Ubisoft.

“Nathan Edmondson and Marc Laming are respected experts in their fields and we are so incredibly fortunate to have them on board for the Splinter Cell graphic novel,” said Patrick Redding, game director, Ubisoft Toronto.

Nathan Edmondson is a comic book author and screenwriter, native of Augusta, Georgia. His critically acclaimed work includes comics “Who is Jake Ellis?” “Grifter” and “The Activity.” An illustrator and comic book artist, Marc Laming was an artist for The Activity and has contributed illustrations and art to dozens of comics for some of the world’s biggest publishers, including DC Comics and Image Comics.
