First Screenshots Released for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn
The first screenshots for the latest entrant in the Final Fantasy series have been revealed.
Released by Square Enix, the images showcase the visual accuracy that players and fans of the series have come to expect from Final Fantasy over the years. The screenshots also show, for the first time, the simple UI (user interface) that Playstation 3 users will be using, which also makes full use of the button configuration that the PS3 controller contains.
Players who like to completely customise their controller layout to their own requirements will be able to do so as the user interface will be fully customisable. It has also been designed with familiar and traditional Final Fantasy controls in mind so that the game retains a classic RPG feel that will be familiar to any Playstation 3 RPG gamers.
Alongside these screenshots is a selection of new artwork that features some of the Primals, who will feature heavily in the narrative of A Realm Reborn. The artwork also shows off some of the armour sets that will be available for the Chocobo mounts featured in the game.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is the latest game in the best-selling series and and will be available on PC and Playstation 3 in 2013.
