Far Cry 3 Gets Blocky With Minecraft Mod – Farcraft
Don’t act like you didn’t want more Minecraft in your life
Ubisoft teased us a while back with some Minecraft-esque alterations to existing promotional images, and now they’re ready to unveil the whole project.
If you head over to the official Far Cry 3 site you’ll notice that there’s a shiny Minecraft header. From here, you’ll be able to download the mod which has been lovingly crafted by Michael Lambert as a block shaped homage to the Rook Islands featured in Far Cry 3. Artsists, Axel Janssen and Yohann Delcourt, were responsible for creating the textures.
The mod includes skins for some of the major characters in Far Cry 3, including Vaas and his sister Citra, and is accompanied by all new blocks, weapons and locations ripped straight from the upcoming game.
