Doom 3 BFG Edition launches this Friday in the UK, and with that comes another trailer
While some of you may not remember the original launch of Doom 3 on PC, and subsequently consoles, it was a benchmark in graphical design and setting the mood of a horror videogame, but it also got right on people’s last nerve with its flashlight system.
Thankfully, for those that had issue with it, Doom 3: BFG Edition includes the ability to use the precious light source and your weaponry all at the same time; gaming evolution 101.
Also bundled in this package is the Lost Mission and the Resurrection of Evil expansion pack, and it all supports Dolby 5.1 and stereoscopic 3D.
Those demons won’t kill themselves, so in the words of Arnie, “Get your ass to Mars”.
Doom 3: BFG Edition is available in the US and launches on Friday in the UK priced £29.99 on consoles and £19.99 on PC
