Bioshock Infinite breaks silence with a bang
The long awaited third game in the Bioshock franchise explodes back into the public eye with this new trailer entitled “Beast of America” and shows off some stunning in-game scenes that are sure to wow players upon release.
Bioshock Infinite separates itself from the first two games in the franchise which were set in the underwater Utopian city of Rapture that was shrouded in death and mystery upon players arrival in the first game. Setting itself apart from its predecessors Bioshock Infinite takes a step into the past from the 60s (Bioshock and Bioshock 2) back to the 1920s where players will step aboard the Colombia, a massive airship-city. Although the setting and characters are all different the gameplay will remain extremely similar with the same hooks such as super-human powers and gun play. At this point in time it is unclear whether anything from the story or setting will allude to what came to pass in Rapture during the original game.
Bioshock Infinite is due for release on the 26th of February, 2012
