Tryst Multiplayer Goes Free To Play
The multiplayer portion of Bluegiant Interactives Tryst has now been released for free via Steam.
The real time strategy title offers a free restricted version of its multiplayer. The restricted version allows players to use all of the Human race with no restrictions on units or buildings in multiplayer. The free version allows its user to host games on one map or join randoms on any of the maps featured in Tryst. Upgrading from the free restricted version to the full game unlocks the race known as the Zali. This race differs from the more traditional Human race by requiring players to merge units rather than upgrade them. The Zali also have the ability to resurrected fallen units by collecting scrap pieces left behind after their deaths. The nature of the Zalis merging units opens up a wide range of skills, roles and strategic advantages for the player to use.
Tryst is bringing a familiar competitive RTS feel with a few fancy extra gameplay elements. The ability to arm individual units with various items allows players to customize their forces. This system known as the A.R.M ( Augmentation Research Mechanism ) adds a extra layer of depth to the overall experience.
More information on the game can be found at Trysts official site.
