Xbox 360 Version Of Final Fantasy XIII Will Ship on 3 Discs
It’s no great suprise that a huge game like Final Fantasy XIII won’t fit on a single DVD, the format used on Xbox 360 as oppose to Playstation’s Blu-Ray. Speculation has been flying around for months, some saying that it will require 2 discs, some saying 4 and some crazy people even saying it will take even more than that!
It has now been confirmed that the game will ship on 3 discs. After US Game retailer “GameFly” listed the game as 3 discs overnight, a Square Enix rep has told VG247 that this is indeed true. Don’t worry though, you won’t be messing around with multiple discs too much as the rep also added that “Players will only have to swap discs twice during their entire game”.
Final Fantast XIII will ship to both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on March 9th Worlwide, except Japan who have been playing the game since last year.
