Ubisoft announces Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
Today Ubisoft announced that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier™ is in development at Ubisoft’s Paris studio and is scheduled to be released worldwide during a tentative Holiday 2010 release window.
Ubisoft are also set to offer gamers chance to be the first to play Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier’s Multiplayer Beta this summer 2010. This exclusive beta invitation will be available for a limited time to customers who purchase Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction™ which releases on 16 April 2010 for Xbox 360.
Unfortunately there was no mention of what other platforms the next Ghost Recon will appear on, but a representative from Ubisoft told GamerZines that the company “isn’t communicating the formats just yet” and that platforms will be announced in the “coming months.”
Whether this title will make an appearance on the PS3 remains to be seen.
