THQ Unleash Darksiders 90 Minute Demo
THQ’s apocalyptic slasher Darksiders is set to get a 90 minute demo on both Xbox Live and PSN. The demo hits both services on Feb 25th, will be the first level of the first campaign known as Twilight Cathedral.
This level level includes puzzles, equipment to find and even two boss battles, a decent mix of gameplay for sure.
David Adams , General Manager of Vigil Games, had the following to say on the subject of this mammoth demo “We are really pumped to be bringing a playable demo for Darksiders to Xbox 360 and PlayStation3,” he continued to say ”We really wanted to give gamers a true idea of the variety of gameplay that the game offers and so rather than just making a standard 20-minute demo version of the first few levels, we decided to give away this massive level and reveal the true essence of the game.”
It seems that THQ are trying to push thier new franchise (which has recently been confirmed to have a future sequel along with two other THQ franchises) in order to cement the Darksiders name as a household brand in the same vein that Halo and Call of Duty have manged to acquire.
