No DLC For Final Fantasy 13?
It seems Square Enix are not planning on delivering any DLC for Final Fantasy 13 .
In a joint statement producer Yoshinori Kitase and director, Motomu Toriyama said “Regarding the DLC content, we feel that the final product is 100% enjoyable…it’s the complete package,”
The statement also adresses the cut content that is said to exsit and which was rumored to come in the form of DLC, the pair had this to say on the subject “In regard to the rumored cut content, we feel it was taken out of context,” the pair continues. “There are a lot of ideas that are brought to the table, and then the team takes the best ideas out of those, and the final product is polished that way.”
It seems the cut content were merely ideas an ideas alone that were not seen fit to be included in the full version off Final Fanasty 13.
It seems a odd move for Square not to be interested in producing any DLC when you take into account how big of a name and franchise Final Fantasy is.
Prehaps in the months following the release of Final Fantasy 13 Square could rethink their stance onDLC.
i'm glad there won't be any dlc. i'm sick of developers shelling out games and asking us to the pay for the rest of it through xbox live.
