According to a rumour on GameZone, signs are pointing towards BioWare revealing new Mass Effect 2 DLC at the Game Developer Conference (GDC).

It is no secret that BioWare has been keen to emphasise that it will be paying more attention to DLC for Mass Effect 2, with the in-game Cerberus Network already delivering free characters, weapons and missions. But what could the DLC have in-store for the already near-perfect story of Mass Effect 2? It is probable that it is just side missions. Though with a bit of luck they might stray away from the ME1 DLC formula and bring something entirely new and worthwhile to the table – only time will tell.

GDC takes place between March 9th and March 13th in San Francisco, so Mass Effect 2 fans will want to hone their radars and pay extra-close attention at that time.
