The recently released Mass Effect 2 is currently set for a Xbox 360 and PC release much like it’s predecessor, however, that exclusivity is beginning to come under question as code found in the PC version suggests we could see a PS3 release.

The following code was found in the PC version…

As you can see, in the last 2 lines both have “PS3″ just before the equals sign in each one as oppose to “PC” or “Xbox” in the above 2.

Obviously this shouldn’t be taken as confirmation, it could just be something to do with the game engine. However, EA who publish the game are well known for making all of their games multi-platform so Mass Effect on the PS3 is a definite possibility.
