Gears of War 3 Announcement Due?

Lead Designer for Gears of War, Cliff Bleszinski, is well known for his ambitious claims about the games he helps to create and when he mentioned kick ass news it naturally got the fans excited.

Obviously, this “kick ass news” was the announcement that Gears of War characters, Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago, would be appearing in Lost Planet 2. After this, Bleszinski then tweeted “Yes, that’s the news. I said “kick ass” which I think it is. [But] Keep your eyes open for “megaton face melting news.”

Consequently this is causing fans to believe a Gears of War 3 announcement may be just around the corner. Only time will tell…
