Assassins Creed 3 Confirmed and Given Release Date
As one of the best games of 2009, Assassin’s Creed 2 really did destroy the negative opinions of those who weren’t too sure after playing the first instalment. Now, just three months on, information is starting to slip about the sequel, which I am sure you cannot wait for.
Ubisoft started by announcing that the nest instalment of Assassin’s Creed will feature multiplayer modes for you to enjoy in the online community. Online Multiplayer is all the rage these days but with games like Call of Duty and Halo dominating the scene, a game like Assassin’s Creed could find it hard to make the cut. No more information was released so we have got no idea what may be in store but if Ubisoft follow their usual trend of making new ideas it will probably be unlike anything you would expect.
Ubisoft then went on to mention that the third installment will be produced by the same studio that brought you Assassin’s Creed 2. As a result, they then confirmed that it will also star Ezio following on from the events of the last game. Again, not much was said in great detail but it makes sense that they carry on the story of Ezio, afterall, anything later would result in guns which defeat the concept of Assassin’s Creed.
Assassin’s Creed 3 is set to be released in Ubisoft’s Fiscal year 2011. That is anytime between April 1st 2010 and April 1st 2011 so a Christmas or Spring 2011 release is looking likely.
