Return to Ostagar Pulled Due to Flawed Title Update

The release of the Dragon Age: Origins Return to Ostagar DLC has been a rocky release to say the least, after being announced it got delayed to an undisclosed date, now after hitting the Marketplace sometime Thursday – it has been pulled after what seemed to be a flawed title update.

It appears the rocky road was made worse when it was revealed the update has done more harm than good. However, BioWare community manager Chris Priestly addressed the issue on the company’s forums:

“A title update on the Xbox 360 for Dragon Age: Origins was made available in preparation for the release of Return to Ostagar. This title update introduced a previously undetected issue that causes specialization classes to not work correctly in Dragon Age: Origins.”

As a result, Return to Ostagar has been pulled from the marketplace “until the issue is resolved.” – Hopefully the third time will be the charm for this title.

If you were lucky enough to grab the title from the Marketplace before it was pulled – it should go without saying if you are prompted to update – kindly decline.
