As if the licensing of Vietnam related music and slip ups by Treyarch staff was not enough to tell you that a new Call of Duty is on the way, you can now rest assured that it is. A senior trade source has told CVG that the game will be another Treyarch developed title and will hit shelves sometime in November, much like previous releases; World at War and Modern Warfare 2.
The seventh game in the series, dubbed “Call of Duty: Vietnam” is going to be set in the late 1960s during the Vietnam war, if you did not guess that yourself. It also supposedly takes influence from classic movies Apocalypse Now and Platoon.
Activision truly believe that they can dominate the Christmas market again and have told Treyarch that the game must be ready for the shops before the holiday season. The game is apparently on course and looking good, so keep your eyes open for more news on this exciting title.

As long as people keep buying Call Of Duty, there will always be Call Of Duty and personally, I think that's great.

Urgh, not another so soon, and not set in the past. Modern Warfare ones are so much better. Greddy Activision.

Nice but it's from Treyarch…who make stupid, frustrating games like Spider-Man 3.
