Second Brutal Legend DLC Arriving on Dec 17 Plus Eddie Riggs Beard

EA and Double Fine have announced the second DLC pack for Brutal Legend will be launching December 17. Sure it’s Entitled “Hammer of Infinite Fate”, sure the the pack contains a variety of goodies. But what matters the most, is it comes with a beard!

Even ask the games creator:

“I’m excited about the beard, or course, and the new achievements and trophies,” said Tim Schafer, President of Double Fine Productions. “But the thing I really can’t wait to get my hands on is that Oculus of the Lost. Using it to find the last Bound Serpent isn’t cheating, because it looks so cool on my car.”

Here is a list of all the goodies and toys you can expect come Dec 17:

  • Three new outfits for Eddie Riggs: Mountain Man, Black Metal, and Zaulia, along with seven new back patches
  • Four new paint schemes for the Deuce
  • Four upgrades for the Deuce. Three weapons: the Disgorger, the Coiling Maw, and the Eye of Sorrow (a weapon that draws its power from the Sea of Black Tears, and fires “black projectiles of doom”) along with the Oculus of the Lost (a GPS unit that points out the location of Serpents).
  • Four new multiplayer maps: the Altar of Blood, Coiled Remains, Crucible of the Titans and The Amplified Cliffs. Each map contains “an in-game element of surprise that puts a strategic twist to every Stage Battle,” or so says EA.

Hammer of Infinite Fate will be released for the Xbox 360 (XBL) and PlayStation 3 (PSN) on December 17th for 480 Microsoft points or $4.99 respectively.
