Brink Delayed Untill Fall 2010, S.M.A.R.T Move?

Through all the promise this upcoming First-person shooter video game has, it seemed developer Splash Damage thought they need a little more time – delaying release until Fall 2010.

But is this a S.M.A.R.T move?

The news came to us via a preview of the game’s S.M.A.R.T movement system on G4. We would have to assume they need this extra time to perfect this movement system. Originally the game was set to release in the Spring 2010 timeframe, thus only being pushed back a few months – but if the end product benefits from this delay, then we can’t complain too much.

Brink is now scheduled for release Fall 2010 on Windows Live, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Mass Effect 2 is released January 29, 2010 on PC and Xbox 360.

    I think it’s important that companies take the time to make sure a product is good because if it isn’t it will kill their reputation.
