December is the month for festive cheer, and Playstation Home is no exception – Playstation Blog announces their “Winter Wonderland” plans, a new space will be released on December 10 that will let players talk with elves, visit Santa’s Grotto and even meet the big jolly man himself.

As usual, the space will contain a selection of mini-games, for instance, one that will ask you to chop wood because an elf cannot get it done for Christmas eve. It seems the games objectives revolve around completing preparations for the holiday season, with prizes rewarded for completion. Let’s just hope that elf costume is one of those prizes, as it doesn’t justify a full purchase – after Christmas it would just be thrown to the back of your virtual closet, anyway.
