Natal Rumored for November 2010 With Shocking Price Tag
It appears during a Microsoft tour of studios in the United Kingdom, as the Natal technology was being displayed as well as future plans for the system – apparently word slipped regarding the motion control unit’s release.
According to MCV‘s sources “the innovative controller-free 360 camera will be released worldwide in November 2010.” Also it’s speculated the launch bundle will ship along with 14 games, and a stock of 5 million units in both solo packages and 360/camera bundles.
However the most shocking rumor of all is the price tag – which is said to be £50 or $80. Which is relatively cheap for the supposed industry changing peripheral. In fact, it’s even cheaper than the Wireless Adaptor which for some people is necessary to connect to Xbox Live. When speaking to a developer, he claims this motion is “trying to get as close as possible to ‘impulse buy.’”
Microsoft released a statement about this claiming they do not comment on “rumor and speculation” but as it stands, from a logical perspective Microsoft would have shut-down this rumour if it were completely devoid of merit. So as of now, there’s still hope.
