God Of War Collection Debuts on PS3 November 17

When the series originated on PS2 in 2005 it received critical accolades, selling more than 2.4 million units in the US alone. It was no surprise when its sequel, God Of War II, made nearly 2 million sales in 2007 – despite it being on a last generation console.

So now this holiday season Sony have announced that the God of War Collection, a high-def compilation of the first two God of War games, will debut on the PlayStation 3 November 17.

God Of War Collection will feature the first two games running at 720p, but the transition to high-def isn’t the only new addition to the game. This time around both games will feature full PS3 Trophy support as well as each copy of the game coming bundled with a code to download the God Of War III demo months before its release in March.

A full list of trophies for God Of War Collection can be found at Sony’s Official Playstation Blog.
